We're engaged!!

On Saturday August 28th, around 6am... Brandon woke me up and took me (well, pretty much carried me) out to his car. He had my favorite donuts and hot chocolate waiting for me in his car. He drove me up to a lake where we first said I love you to each other. We sat down on a bench right by the lake and I cuddle up into his arms. We started watching the sun rise while we ate our yummy donuts, and talked about all the fun memories we've made in the past year and half. He started talking to me about the first time he saw me, and the first time he said I love you, to me. I remember all of it like it was yesterday! Right as the sun was coming over the mountain he got down on his knee and asked if I would marry him!! Oh man I felt like the luckiest girl in the world! And of course I said YES!

The morning Brandon proposed the ring wasn't ready yet. So later in the day he proposed again.. with the real ring (that he designed all by himself! It's the most beautiful and perfect ring ever!). What girl gets to be proposed to 2 times in 1 day?! I am so lucky:)

I love you so much my sweet boy! I can't wait to be sealed in the temple so we can be together forever!

The times when you would wake me up in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping and ask me if I wanted to go shooting with you. Mom and Dad probably never knew this (sorry to rat you out!)... but it was soo fun! I loved holding the spot light for you the best : )

I will never forget…

When you left on your mission. I was still pretty young and I remember running to the mail everyday and with every batch of letters from you there was always one just for me! It would make me so happy... I won’t ever forget it.

I have always looked up to you so much Kenny! Thanks for always being there for me and for all the advice you’ve given me. I love you so much and I hope you have the best birthday ever!

Mason's Trip to the Dentist

Last week Mason, Lena, and Andrea came to visit me at work! This was Mason's first time at the dentist. For a 2 year old Mason was AMAZING! He practiced opening his mouth for the dentist the whole week before.. He did great! He got his teeth cleaned... he even let the dentist look in his mouth!

He really liked watching Cars while he got his teeth cleaned!

After his trip to the dentist Andrea and I took him to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point for being such a good patient!

You were my best patient Mason! Can't wait for you to come again.. I love you!

Gooo Suns!

About a month ago I got to go to the Suns vs. Jazz game with Brandon's family. It was soo fun and I definitely have to admit I have become a Suns fan wooo!

Right before the game Brandon and I had a great idea to make shirts. With only an hour to make them we hurried and bought everything we needed and made them in the trunk of my car.. even though they were still wet when we were walking into the arena, we were very excited and proud to show them off:)

Update!

I have definitely been slacking on updating my blog! Here are some things that we've been up to since I last updated it...

Brandon had his birthday!

For his birthday I made him a book of all his mission pictures.. it turned out pretty cute!

For Christmas my parents got us snowboarding passes...
We have put them to good use!

We've gone shooting...

Mase Mase turned 2! He LOVES fire trucks (he calls them weeeo weeeo's) So Andrea made him the cutest fire truck birthday cake. Mason loved it!
Lastly, we made a quick trip to Arizona for Scott and Ashley's wedding.. it was beautiful! All of Brandon's friends from high school were there too.. it is so fun to see them all together!

Yesterday Brandon and I went and saw the movie The Blind Side.. I definitely reccommend it! It is now my new favorite movie!

When I was little and I would come dance around you and all your friends until you couldn't take it anymore, and you all told me that you were going to untie my belly button and my legs were going to fall off! I vividly remember sleeping with my hands tightly cupped over my belly button with my eyes wide open all night! This story makes me laugh every time.. you are so funny Danny!

In high school when I would come home at the end of the day and walk up the stairs then walk through the hall and BOO! You would be there to scare me in the exact same spot every single day. I really jumped every time! I even knew you were going to be there the next day and I still got scared!

When you were walking through the terminal at the airport with a huge smile on your face when you came home from your mission. I remember being so excited to see you!

When you and Yenni came out of the temple on your wedding day. Thank you for being such a great example to me and for being so sweet and loving!
